Bottom fishing on the Country Girl generally
offers a chance to catch more fish than inshore trips offer and
gives anglers the chance to experience and offshore excursion at
an affordable price, Unlike Gulf Stream trips where you
are responsible for chartering the entire boat, this trip allows
you to purchase individual tickets. A maximum of 27
anglers travel 5 to 50 miles offshore and drop lines over
wrecks, rocky bottom, and artificial reef. In water
running 60 to 300 feet we find edible fish such as black sea bass,
triggerfish, gray tile fish, bluefish, dolphin, king mackerel,
amberjack and sharks. Bottom fishing trips are scheduled
Tuesday-Friday in-season departing at 7am and returning at
4:30pm. We book one to two trips a week
in the spring and Fall. The trips fill
up quickly so it is important to plan a week to two weeks ahead.
Extra perks: seeing offshore beauty such as sea turtles, whales, dolphin,
and pelagic birds. Everything is provided except your food
and drink and a tip for the mate!
Price: $110 per person +
